These patient folks have been waiting a LONG time for their sneak peek. One of the casualties of being a professional photographer is that you put your best friends in a long line. So, thanks guys for waiting, here are your adorable little monkeys! Bet you can't tell who the brother and sisters are vs. the cousins, they all look so much alike and have the most beautiful, rich eyes.
It seems like just last week I met this little one at 9 weeks old. She has grown like a weed and is already ONE year old!
After about three failed attempts for various reasons, we finally pulled together to make this session happen. Then we thought the night was going to be overcast and rainy AND their car had trouble on the drive to see me. But we did it and pulled through with the last bits of gorgeous evening light.
As soon as this little one's toes hit the sand she was off to the races, talk about a girl that loves the ocean! So much personality, in such a tiny and adorable package!
Is this not the most hilarious expression!!
I spent a gorgeous fall evening with this great family. I went back to basics with these sneak peeks, because as wonderful as these look in color, I simply love the "soul" of a black and white portrait. It allows you to jump right into the eyes of the subject and it captures their delightful little spirits.
I know I already shared two from this session but I just have loved proofing this and wanted to share just a few. You can click on the double to see it bigger. She is just SO cute!
They came all of the way from California...just for a session with me, well no, but that would have made a great story :) Jenna has been one of my best friends since 4th grade, so in a way they did come all of the way for me and we threw in a session while she was here with her wonderful, gorgeous and amazing little family. I love them so much and have the best time when they are here. Ben is one of the few people that I know that can rival my love for pizza, really he is serious about pizza. By the time he had been here for one short week, the folks at his favorite pizza haunt knew him by name. They don't know my name and I live here. I bow down Ben.
I love this....so happy! One of the best Mom's I have the honor to know!
Jady-bug was so cute, she was helping my little one visit his school and was telling him to be brave on his first day :)
Sometimes there is just one that stands out in a crowd. So handsome that my camera just can't stay away :)
